Tolani E The Delmarva water transport Committee (DWTC) is a non-profit organization with headquarters in Salisbury, Maryland. Formed in the fall of 1974 by a small group of people who were concerned about the future of waterborne commerce on the Delmarva Peninsula. Our mission is to encourage the continuation and further development of waterborne commerce on the rivers, bays and harbors of the Delmarva Peninsula through the promotion of adequate dredging, safe navigation and maintenance and development of harbor and river terminals in such a manner as to protect and conserve the environment. In its 43rd year DWTC has continued to fulfill this mission and play an important role in the continued effort to keep the area waterways open to commercial traffic.
