Dr. Behnam Majd joined District Smiles in June 2020 and has been a valuable addition to our clinical staff. Known for his energetic attitude, he is a compassionate, skilled dentist. The doctor earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. As part of his dental education, he completed several dental externships and an oral surgery clerkship. Dr. Majd also served as president of the Global Dental Brigades, a nonprofit, student-led organization dedicated to implementing sustainable health systems for underserved populations.
