| Human Resources Supervisor | Virtual | A leading exporter with warehouses and processing facilities is searching for a Human Resources Supervisor to develop and administer human resources policies and support both the team and the upgrade of the HR management systems. Key responsibilities include; Managing company staff Follow-up staff performance On board newcomers to the company Manage staff contracts and their renewals whenever necessary Follow-up on staff leave Organize, attend and takes minutes of staff appraisals Advise management on HR strategies Propose innovations to management for better staff follow-up and implement solutions Propose and implement HR management procedures (e.g. leave procedures, compliance documents) Assist with the performance management and review process Support recruitment process Propose suitable salaries & organize staff bonus follow-up Develop adequate trainings Ensure staff well-being Propose & organize team buildings Organize any meetings linked to staff management (disciplinary hearing, etc.) Support the admin department with filing, correspondence, procurement, etc. Overall responsibilities will include travels to the field. Preferred qualifications Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in HR management Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources of Business Competencies Strong collaboration, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to train and motivate a team. Ability to work under pressure and close late where necessary. Ability to work under minimum supervision. Ability to be a good team player. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English. Luganda is an asset. Ability to use various technologies.
