Job Description Reporting to the Senior Manager and working collaboratively with Human Resources and Departments across CPPIB, the Manager enhances and executes talent and organizational effectiveness and transformation initiatives and provides data-driven insights to further advance desired goals and culture. This role contributes to large-scale projects and/or manages end-to-end core talent management programs for one or more initiatives. Key areas of responsibility can include research, design, implementation and analysis of programming – namely, performance management, pipeline development and succession, culture and engagement, feedback and other company-wide initiatives. Role-Specific Accountabilities Manage end-to-end delivery of one or more organizational-wide talent and organizational effectiveness programs and/or contributes discrete pieces to a large-scale transformational project and/or process enhancement that drive alignment of objectives and employee engagement to further promote our desired goals and culture. Responsibilities include: • Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders to assess and understand needs using data • Determine business and functional requirements and design creative solutions to enable the seamless delivery of programs, enhance the end-user experience and advance the strategy/objectives • Own the overall project management and delivery of key programs/processes • Socialize and obtain buy-in for changes • Identify change management and communication requirements for all levels of the organization in partnership with our HR business partners and internal communications developing and revising tools, resources and communication materials to increase adoption of the process and/or change • Work with the appropriate team to implement various systems or processes to deliver scalable, reliable talent data, information and solutions • Review measurement and evaluation tools to address efficiency and effectiveness as well as analyze data for insights and to inform future programming and/or adjust programs, as appropriate • Ensure that programs/processes are fully integrated with other OD, HR and business programs or transformation initiatives where appropriate • Conduct ongoing research on global best practices and, recommend modifications and/or changes to programming Qualifications • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project/program management, OD and/or Talent Management, preferably in the financial or professional services industry • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in related field (e.g. Human Resources) is preferred; professional designation (e.g. CHRE) is a plus • “Hands-on” project manager with proven ability to partner with key stakeholder groups to implement large-scale complex programs and change initiatives • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to take concepts and express them concisely and effectively for all levels across the organization • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to understand broader impact and insights • Highly organized, proven attention to accuracy and detail and an ability to produce high-quality work or project manage under tight timeframes Strong interpersonal skills, ability to foster effective working relationships across the organization • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently prioritize and manage multiple projects • Takes initiative, responsibility and pro-actively seeks opportunities to add value • Experience with Talent Management system implementations (e.g. Workday) and advanced analytic visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) • Enthusiastic team player • Exemplifies our Guiding Principles of Integrity, Partnership and High Performance Additional Information Visit our Linkedin Career Page or Follow us on Linkedin. #LI-PM1 At CPP Investments, we are committed to diversity and equitable access to employment opportunities based on ability.
